Oil or Acrylic Colors (I prefer oil, or water based oils, for outdoors if possible)
            Limited Palette:                       
                        Ultramarine Blue
                        Cadmium Yellow Light or Cadmium Yellow Medium,
                        Permanent Alizarin
            Other colors I use:
                        Yellow Ochre,
                        Quinacridone Red (Permanent Rose)
                       
Sap Green,
                        Cadmium Orange,
                        Manganese Blue

Optional Colors :  Burnt Sienna or warm earth tone, Cadmium Red., Cerulean, Viridian
Though these happen to be my choices, if you already have a palette you are comfortable with you can start with that.           

Miscellaneous:
Brushes: Bristle-  (2,4,6,8 ) flats and/or filberts, rounds ok if you like them.
Small thin watercolor brush (rigger is good, for fine lines)
Medium sized gray tipped pointed “shaper” sold in art stores for use in printing.
Paper towels (Viva is a cut above!) Or the blue shop towels you get in a hardware store (cheaper), and hand wipes or hand cleaner
Medium size plastic bags for used towels, etc.
Palette knife for painting and cleaning palette  
Odorless Mineral Spirits, or Turpenoid in metal container that seals very well.
Small container of medium (Galkyd or similar ok)
Small jar poppyseed or walnut or linseed oil
Wood, plexi or glass palette, disposable ok
Lots of small (6x8 and 8x10) canvases, gessoed boards or canvas panels and a couple larger (we will discuss).
Portable easel (google “plein air painting supplies” and box for wet paintings
Small drawing pad and dark pencil or charcoal.
Small camera and/or Photos of landscape and skies with clouds for indoors.
Umbrella that attaches to painting setup (optional)

Plus: Please bring photographs of landscapes, lots of canvases (different sizes) and any works in progress you'd like to share.
