Please note, Winsor & Newton Cotman and Grumbacher Academy are student grade. The student grade paints are good and less expensive but the differ a little from the professional ones.

*BRUSHES
You can do the complete course with a #10 Round Watercolor Brush.   Look for one that is part synthetic and part natural bristle.  I recommend a #10 Winsor Newton Sceptor Gold 101 Series or Robert Simmons #10 Short Handle Round Sapphire Brush. Optional extra brush:  1" flat wash brush

*PALETTE
John Pike Palette or other large white covered palette.

*PAPER
140 lb. cold press, acid-free sheets or block.  Suggested brands:  Arches Watercolor Block, 12 x 16 or Artistico Acquarello, 12 x 18.
