You can do the complete course with this brush. Look for one that is part synthetic and part natural bristle. Recommended brands: Winsor Newton Sceptor Gold 101 Series or Robert Simmons Brushes (NOT Robert Simmons White Sable)
Optional:
1” flat wash brush

PALETTE:
John Pike Palette or other large white palette. Cover preferred.

PAPER:
140 lb acid free sheets or block. Suggested brand: Arches Watercolor
Paper.
Small 9 x 12, student grade, 140 lb cold press watercolor pad for
exercises.
