Please note, Winsor & Newton Cotman and Grumbacher Academy are student grade. The student grade paints are good and less expensive.

*BRUSHES:
#10 ROUND WATERCOLOR BRUSH.
Look for one that is part synthetic and part natural bristle. Recommended brands: Winsor Newton Sceptor Gold 101 Series or Robert Simmons Brushes (NOT Robert Simmons White Sable) You can do the complete course with this brush.
Optional: 1” flat wash brush

PALETTE:
John Pike Palette or other large white covered palette.

*PAPER:
140 lb. cold press, acid-free sheets or block. Suggested brand: Arches Watercolor Paper. 12 x 16 is a good size for a block.
Small 9 x 12, student grade, 140 lb cold press watercolor pad for
exercises.

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES:
