Unless otherwise noted, adult classes are open to ages 16 and
above. Smoking is not permitted in the building. Cleanup is everyone's
responsibility. Always clean your work area before leaving —
this includes floors, tables, tools and equipment. Your cooperation
is appreciated. Students are required to remove any personnel
property from LAA at the end of each class. LAA is not responsible
for lost/stolen items. Students must respect LAA property, including
art, furnishings, equipment, and supplies. Student and visitors
must walk while in the building.

LAA reserves the right to ask disruptive student to leave. Tuition
will not be refunded for disruptive behavior. Only currently registered
students may use the LAA studios and equipment, and only during
the period (duration of class) for which the student is registered.
Students are not allowed in the studios between classes, without
school staff permission.

We follow the class cancellation schedule of Loudoun County Public
Schools. This applies to both children’s and adult classes
and workshops.

Make-up date(s) will be coordinated with the instructor, who will
notify students at the next meeting. In most instances, make up
class will be scheduled during the break week between sessions.
For hurricanes, tornados, etc. turn on the radio for news updates.
If immediate danger, the stairway going to the 2nd floor is the
safest area in the building.

Photographers are often on the premises during classes and special
events to capture images for LAAF archives and use in publicity
manuals. If you do not wish to be photographed, please indicate
so in writing.
