Introduction to Glassblowing

Cost:

$200 + $50 supply fee

Students may choose from a variety of projects and will be encouraged to develop skills in molten glass with their chosen project. Introductory projects include small flowers, mushrooms, teardrops, marbles and icicles. Once a suitable mastery of the form is achieved, color may be introduced. Limit two students per workshop and schedule is dependent upon full enrollment. Supplies provided include safety glasses, hand tools, torch, fuel, glass rods and color bits.

$80 per hour+ $50 supply fee
additional supply fee may be needed depending on your production.


Paté de verre...paste of glass. An exciting way to create small glass sculptures. Involving a percise clay model, to making an investment mold to finally placing vivid colors in positions within your mold. This is an old method to have control over creating sculptures in glass with exciting color placement.
